Reginald A. Pearman was a photojournalist who during the course of his career worked as a staff photographer for the Associated Press, the Washington Post and the Oakland Tribune. He also was a regular contributor to the National Geographic magazine, the New York Times and Time magazine. In 1990 Pearman won a Pulitzer Prize for his 1989 coverage for the Loma Prieta earthquake.
