Fred A. Corselius (d. 1863) was the second son of Ann Arbor newspaper pioneer George Corselius. He died of his wounds at the Gettysburg battlefield on July 4, 1863. Corselius had enlisted as a private in Captain Clark's company.

Fred Corselius. Two letters (Feb. 14 and June 5, 1863) in which he mentions a four days' reconnaissance through fine farming country to Ashby's Gap and the possible cashiering of their colonel for drunkenness on the trip; home affairs; picket duty; a brush with Mosby's guerrillas. Corselius, who served in the 5th Michigan Cavalry, was killed in the battle of Gettysburg.
