Green Seal Beer was brewed by the Buckeye Brewing Company of Toledo, Ohio. Jacob Dupper obtained the Ann Arbor franchise for the beer in 1901, and distributed it from his home at 439 Fifth Street on the city's old west side. Green Seal was shipped by rail from Toledo on the Ann Arbor Railroad.
