The University of Michigan's Ross School of Business announced Monday morning that it has named a new executive director of the Samuel Zell & Robert H. Lurie Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies, who will also be the Eugene Applebaum professor of entrepreneurial studies. Pending approval by UM's board of regents, Stewart Thornhill will assume those posts on Sept. 1, replacing Tom Kinnear, who has been the executive director of the institute since its founding in 1999.
