Biography


Clark was born in Coventry, Rhode Island and served as a private under Captain Galusha's Company and Colonel Herrick's regiment of Vermont Militias and it is reported that he took part in the Battle of Fort Ticonderoga. 

Clark married Patience Soper on December 6, 1777 in Fairfield Vermont

By 1805 he was living in Attica with his wife Patience in a home on Crow Creek. Clark passed away the year 1843 in La Crosse, Indiana at the age of 84 and is buried in Door Village Indiana.
