The Morehead Building is the building at the northwest corner of Fourth and Broadway. It is named after James Franklin Morehead, the owner of People's Savings and Commercial Bank in Chico. The building was built and owned by him as well. He also built the Hotel Diamond and the Ranchero Airport. The building was modernized in the 1940s removing the turret and bay windows.

The upstairs is referred to as Downtown Business Plaza.
