The Center for Animal Disease Modeling and Surveillance is research group at at UC Davis that studies animal disease modeling and surveillance research. They focus on foot-and-mouth-disease, avian influenza, and toxoplasmosis. They are part of the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Epidemiology and in the School of Veterinary Medicine. They only have about 25 people in the Center, including faculty, post-docs and grad students, but they do lots of cool research.

Their stated goal is "to develop systems that can be used to prevent, control, or eradicate animal diseases and their associated adverse economic impacts".
