The Miami Beach Architectural District is an area of South Beach in Miami Beach that has over 800 art deco buildings in one square mile. This is a US Historic District.

It's really neat to walk around because seemingly every other building is a beautiful, often brightly-colored art deco building, often with lovely ornamentation. Parts of this area are residential, so you're just walking down a quiet street with a lot of palm trees and mangroves and instead of normal apartment complexes, all the apartment buildings are art deco. It's particularly lovely to walk here at night.

This area is very near the beach, the busy shopping street Washington Ave., and the busy beach-side street Ocean Drive (which is filled with hotels and restaurants).
