Thieves Broke Into Local Garage
Thieves broke into the premises of Mr. Jim Harvey on Friday night or in the early hours of Saturday morning and received goods valued at over £100.
The robbery was discovered by Mr. Jim Harvey at 8 o’clock on Saturday morning. The thieves took tyres, radio and motor accessories. Mr. Harvey said the total value had not yet been assessed, but he thought the value involved would be in excess of £100. Entry was gained by forcing a back door, and it is thought that the theft occurred after one a.m. Det. Neville George is in charge of enquiries, and it is thought that he is following a strong lead.
