Alder Creek is the name of two creeks in Nevada County. One is about 1.5 miles long and flows into Fall Creek about 6.5 miles southeast of Graniteville.1 The other is about 7 miles long and flows into Prosser Creek Reservoir about 3.25 miles north of Truckee.2

There is also an Alder Creek in Sierra County; that one is about 3 miles long and flows into Smithneck Creek about 7 miles southeast of Loyalton.3
