The Daniel D. Dwyer marble works company, established in 1876, was located on Broadway between 13th and 14th Streets, Oakland, California. In the 1887 Oakland City Directory "Daniel D. Dwyer, marble works" is listed as residing on Piedmont Avenue, near Mountain View Cemetery. It would seem he relocated to be closer to the cemetery.
