Describe Dr. Edwin Clausen here

The idea for creating a home environment for disabled adults capable of independently functioning with some help (what eventually became Clausen House, named in honor of Dr. Clausen) came from a well-known physician from Piedmont, Dr. Edwin G. Clausen, who died at the age of 56 in 1966. His wife Shirley served on the first board of directors; the fledgling organization operated initially under the auspices of the Episcopal Diocese.
