RI Department of Labor and Training (DLT) - The DLT serves as Rhode Island's main resource for job seekers and employers. Their Jobs and Training page includes links to various job listings as well as training programs offered by DLT.
Employ RI - Employ RI is RI DLT's job listing service that helps connect employers with job seekers. The site includes this list of free online learning and training courses.
bRIdge.jobs - bRIdge.jobs is a statewide resource connecting those seeking internships with employers in Rhode Island. Informational materials are also provided to help employers start an internship program.
YouthWORKS411 - YouthWORKS411 is RI DLT's youth-oriented training and employment service, operating at twelve locations across the state.
netWORKri - netWORKri is RI DLT's main employment services program, operating at locations in Providence, West Warwick, Woonsocket and Wakefield. This comprehensive list of training programs includes hundreds of options in fields such as business management, construction, "green" industries, information technology, hospitality, healthcare, manufacturing, marine trades, personal services and transportation.
Community College of Rhode Island (CCRI) - CCRI provides post-secondary education as well as skills training courses. CCRI has three main campuses in Providence, Lincoln and Warwick as well as a new single-building campus in Newport, facilities in the Shepard Building in Downtown Providence and a satellite campus at Westerly High School. CCRI's Center for Workforce and Community Education offers adult basic education, career and technical training, online learning and other workforce related programs.
Rhode Island College (RIC) Outreach Programs - RIC's Outreach Programs offer post-secondary training in a range of fields including social work, healthcare, insurance and accounting/bookkeeping as well English as a second language (ESL) and basic computer skills. The programs take place at RIC's campus in the Mount Pleasant neighborhood of Providence.

MotoRing Technical Training Institute (MTTI) - MTTI offers technical training programs in fields such as automotive service, building trades, computer networking, marine services and healthcare. Classes are held at MTTI's facility in East Providence.
New England Institute of Technology (NEIT) - NEIT offers technical training programs in a wide range of fields, including alternative energy technology, media technology, medical laboratory technology, healthcare, veterinary services and more. NEIT's campus is located in East Greenwich.
Non-profit Resources
Comprehensive Community Action Program (CCAP): Learn to Earn - CCAP's Learn to Earn program provide basic education (pre-GED and GED) and job training to youth and young adults (14 - 24, depending on location/program). Learn to Earn runs skills centers in Providence, Cranston and Warwick as well as youth centers in Warwick and Pawtucket.
RI Community Food Bank: Community Kitchen - Community Kitchen is a full time, 14-week course that prepares low-income and jobless adults for careers in the culinary arts. The program also offers internships in local restaurants and professional kitchens. RI Community Food Bank is located in the Reservoir Triangle neighborhood of Providence.
Goodwill Industries of RI: Job Training - Goodwill offers job training and support services for adults in areas such as fundamentals of computers, recycling services and retail customer service. Training takes place at the Goodwill Industries facility in the Fox Point neighborhood of Providence.
