Rare Records doubles as a video rental store, though according to their flyer, they specialize in "obscure cult, trash, and foreign films."

Rare Records specializes in used and out of print vinyl records of all shapes and sizes. We also carry CDs, DVDs, Blu-ray, posters, video game systems & games, cassette tapes, 8 tracks, VHS, Laserdisc, and many other formats.

We also buy and trade any of the types of items mentioned above. There is always a buyer working at the store, so you'll never hear us say "sorry come back tomorrow when a buyer is here" after you've hauled a 50 pound box of records from Roseville. With that said it is always helpful if you can call us before bringing in a large or special batch of items to sell.

Our store was previously known as K Street Records. Our old K Street location is featured on the cover of DJ Shadow's album "Entroducing". Our logo was designed by cult cartoonist Robert Crumb.
