Timbuk2 is a San Francisco-based bag company. They're probably best known for their bike messenger bags (those sort of trapezoid-shaped ones with wide bands that sling over your shoulder, across your chest and down by your ribs).

The bags are pretty pricey. Perhaps only affordable by dedicated hipsters (I didn't eat for a month, so I could buy my Timbuk2 and look good carrying it), bike messengers (who maybe can get a tax deduction for them?) and yuppies.

The Hayes Valley store doesn't carry their usual stock, though — they're a designer store (?) This means that a lot of the bags you see on their website won't be available there.
