Women's Wisdom Through Time - San Francisco

Women's Wisdom Through Time, or Maestrapeace, was painted in 1994. It covers two sides of The Women's Building in San Francisco, in the Mission District. The mural represents famous women such as Audre Lorde, Georgia O'Keeffe, and Rigoberta Menchu, as well as goddesses like Quan Yin, Yemeyah, and Coyoxauqui.

It was painted by Juana Alicia, Miranda Bergman, Edythe Boone, Susan Kelk Cervantes, Meera Desai, Yvonne Littleton and Irene Perez, and many helpers.
