Summary of services: Children's Council is a great resource for child care and preschool for many parents in need. Their Mission is to advocate families with information, financial support and to ensure that every child in San Francisco has the opportunity to reach their full potential. Families may be eligible to apply regardless of immigration status. The program helps with financial assistance by income and family size chart to see what families qualify for tuition. Program San Francisco's Preschool for All is available to families at all income levels. They have helped many families for the past 45 years with the following resources:  

• Help with your childcare search
• Finding care for a child with special needs 
• Help paying for childcare 
• Support for childcare providers 
• Enroll in the Child Care Food Program

Age Restrictions: Birth-13 years old 

Financial help: Eligibility for childcare is based on family-size and income, but San Francisco's Preschool for All program is available all income levels.   

Waitlist for programs: There may be a waiting list for certain daycare or preschool you may want, but you also have the choice to look under Opening Child Care Programs tab and see what  child care is available in San Francisco.
