Springfield's is full of many beautiful parks and recreational activities that are bound to astound anyone who visits. One of the prominent examples is Washington Park, which is located on 1501 S Grand Avenue W. Designed by Ossian Simmonds and constructed in 1901, Washington Park is a hallmark of Springfield and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. With a size of 150 acres, the park has a lot to offer for the people who come to visit.
