School of Engineering and Sciences is a high school in the Sacramento City Unified School District.

Welcome to SES.Our school currently serves 375 students with a mission to provide students a quality and relevant academic experience that supports their personal learning goals and prepares them for future careers and studies in engineering and other sciences. Watch a video about SES!

As one of the newest and only 7th through 12th grade programs within Sacramento City Unified School District, the School of Engineering and Sciences prides itself on the quality of students and high level of school community leadership, its undeniable student performance and academic excellence.

This year’s seniors will be our first graduating class. We are pleased and excited to announce that each student will be CSU/UC eligible. In an effort to support their future goals, our SES College/Career center will be open at the end of September will following College Board information pertaining to SAT, ACT, scholarship, parent workshop dates, and financial aide information. As a small community, we understand and strongly believe that it takes everyone to take part to ensure our students have a well-rounded academic experience here at the School of Engineering & Sciences. Without parents and community involvement, programs and academic and enrichment opportunities for our students would be a monumental undertaking for our school. This goes without saying, that entering our school everyone is strongly encouraged to be part of a movement that encourages collective collaboration, cooperation, ACTIVE participation.
